What we're looking for
Startups will be evaluated by Plug and Play Italy and its international offices with a focus on mobility (Silicon Valley, Detroit, Stuttgart), CRIT Research, CDP Venture Capital and a panel of sector experts.
Startups incorporated in Italy, or willing to open a legal entity in Italy.
A motivated team with relevant experience and background. A successful startup is not a part-time job!
No fear of thinking big: the desire to scale exponentially is fundamental.
Technologies, products or services capable of revolutionizing the way people move.
A clear vision, and the ability to make it happen. We look for people capable of turning a great idea into a disruptive reality.
Projects relevant to the mobility and automotive sector.
A minimum Technology Readiness Level (TRL) of 3-4 is preferable for hardware projects.
Products and services that target large markets. Local is a good start, global must be your target.

Alberto Dente
With an MSc in Innovation Management from the University of Trento and the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna and an MBA from the Collège des Ingénieurs, Alberto has a passion for all facets of innovation and the automotive and motorsport world. At Motor Valley Accelerator, where he is active in scouting and investment activities, he perfectly combines these two passions.
Francesca Badiali
Francesca holds a MS in Entrepreneurship and Finance and have lived across Italy, Spain, Luxembourg and France. Over her career, she gained understanding of Product Management and Go-to-Market foundamentals working at Amazon and is now deepening her passion for the startup ecosystem by delving deeper Venture Capital dynamics, startup investment methodologies and Open Innovation activities.
Allegra Marini
Allegra holds a MS in International Management, with a first entrepreneurial experience in the automotive field through the TACC program of Modena University. She then worked as Application Manager in the blockchain industry before joining MVA as Ventures and Innovation Advisor, where she's active in scouting activities and assisting portfolio startups in the access to equity-free funding opportunities.
